CILICIA. Tarsos. Tarkumuwa (Datames) (?), satrap of Cilicia and Cappadocia, 384-361/0 BC. 1/3 Stater (Silver, 14 mm, 3.25 g, 9 h). Diademed female head facing slightly to left, wearing pendant earrings and necklace. Rev. 𐡍𐡋𐡍 ('klk' = Cilicia in Aramaic) Bearded head of Ares (?) to left, wearing crested Attic helmet. Casabonne series 2-3. SNG Paris 301-302. Very rare. Numerous small scratches and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
